With my \"Madonna with species\" series, I am trying to show the preciousness of our biodiversity and to call attention to the fact that our planet is in the middle of losing that biodiversity at an unprecedented rate. I have considered preservation and protection of this biodiversity, in my own small way, as my reason for being.
